“I haven’t had any experience or knowledge prior to this role.in uranium mining, but I have worked in coal.and other areas of mining in Central Queensland.

I am qualified to do this job. We have a good team, a mix of scientists, community people, government departmental people.
Team has got the ability to access a lot of work that’s been done internationally, and around the States
We will be having a look at Western Australia, where they introduced new processes for organising uraniummining.
Environmental groups turned down invitation, said that this Committee will be  a”cheer squad for uranium mining”
This group not just window-dressing, to rush through government policy.
What’s your reading of community feeling about uranium mining. Both major parties
 A mixed bag out there on whether we should be uranium mining.
Let us as communities have  a look at these policy decisions.
You don’t have the option to recommend against uranium mining.
The decision to mine uranium has been made by government. There is no room to review that decision.Our decision – we will be taking into consideration the concerns of the locals, as well as industry needs.
We’ll be going to Northern Territory and other states very quickly. – hope to have all that done by Christmas.  After Christmas, time to look at the enormous amount  of submissions that we will be seeking.
