How the legal system betrayed nuclear test veterans

He explains how the veterans have been betrayed by their solicitors through a complex series of changes in the nature of the hearings and the sudden withdrawal of one solicitor firm Rosenblatts and its curious replacement by another, Hogan Lovells, culminating in the removal of all the critical evidence from the cases and the exclusion of Busby’s evidence collected over three years, without the knowledge of the individual litigants.
Prof Busby explains how secret documents, released under Freedom of Information requests and Directions by the Judge, Hugh Stubbs, point to Uranium, the main component of the bombs, as the major cause of the health effects in the veterans and their children and grandchildren. He has decided to put all the information from his many reports, including information obtained from redacted secret sources, on the internet. This information was excluded by the new solicitors to the case, (Hogan Lovells International),which was held in February 2013. Reports will be placed on the internet on the sites:

The solicitors were Rosenblatts. Suddenly at end of 2011, Rosenblatts pulled out. No good reason given for this.
A lot of information about Christmas Island, and teh contamination of the veterans.
Royal British Legion asked Busby to continue to act as expert.
New firm came in – Hogan Lovells. 3 weeks before tribunal case was due to eb heard, they told Busby he would not be used as expert witness. So all of his gathered evidence would be kept out of the court. New expert witnesses had none of this evidence. This evidence had won other cases – evidence about internal radionucleides, and about the fallout from Christmas Island tests.
Therefore many veterans will not get justice.
Evidence obtained with great difficulty through FOI. Some of it Oldbury’s evidence on radionucleides at Christmas Island. Effect of inhaled uranium fallout from Christmas Island. This report used in other test veteran cases, which were won.
Sequential photographs of bomb exploding – photos taken by Lancaster aircraft – you see seawater sucked up into the plume. Eye witness evidence of fish falling out of sky. Mnistry of Defence recors useless – because after rain – fallout not measured. – filters were removed.
Wind changed direction at higher levels. Tracks of plume – up to 50,000 feet up – base of mushroom cloud drifts out to sea. Bomb made of tons of uranium. Upper plume wind blows other way. Rain brings radionucleides back to the island.
There was a lot of radioactive rain.
Aircraft that flew through the plume showed much uranium. It was an enormous fission bomb made out of huge amounts of uranium. Possibly never an H bomb.
Busby contacted Hogan Lovells asking why he was not to be expert witness. Soldiers still wanted him as expert witness. At least one soldier died in the interim. Hogan Lovells not aware.
Reason Busby is doing this. many test veterans still out there. They were exposed to radioactive rain, material mainly uranium. Busby’s 2007 study found evidence of malformations in children of veterans,grandchildren, and of Fallujah residents.
Solicitors too tied to the Establishmant. You cannot trust them.”
