I got one here in Toronto, too! Not all the time malformations happen for radiation. Could be other reasons / explanations as well. May be some chemicals, or physical influences are responsible for that!

I’ve seen four different plant species affected like this here in South Australia. I’ve done a bit of research and found that it is called ‘Fasciation’.
