Exhibitions and Trade Fairs in partnership with the Australian Solar Council have officially announced the inaugural Australian Energy Storage Conference and Exhibition, to be held at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre from the 8–9 May 2014.
The event will be co-located with Solar 2014, which is run by event partners the Australian Solar Council and the Australian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Exhibition.
One of the major challenges in the clean energy industry is how to provide electricity when the sun is not shining and the wind is not blowing – storage provides a solution to this dilemma.
The Australian Energy Storage Conference and Exhibition is the first event in Australia to specifically showcase energy storage solutions and their applications, in conjunction with renewable energy and beyond. The event will bring together equipment providers, manufactures, utilities, policy makers and energy experts to explore market-ready applications for energy storage at all scales. It will cover all areas relating to renewable energy, grid management, electric transport and more.
The Australian Energy Storage Conference will feature a highly informative, two-day conference program, as well as a comprehensive exhibition for all the latest in storage technology, solutions and case studies.
