We are the last generation that can fight climate change. We have a duty to act   Guardian 12 Jan 15  After a year of global turmoil, the UN and international community must work harder than ever for a sustainable future “……..Climate action took on significant momentum with major announcements by the EU, the US and China, and a successful climate conference in Lima, Peru, that kept complex negotiations on track. We must aim high: for the adoption of an ambitious and universal agreement in Paris in December to keep the rise in global temperatures below the dangerous threshold of 2C.

Ours is the first generation that can end poverty, and the last that can take steps to avoid the worst impacts of climate change.
