Antinuclear

Australian news, and some related international items

At last – completed analysis of submissions re nuclear waste dump proposal!

Back to normal.   Not sure what to do with these summaries of 109 submissions, but it has been a very revealing process. A vote or a decision , or something – is supposed to happen on August 20.  The Senate Committee Inquiry on selection process for the planned dump site will report back on August 14.

Too late to have any impact?  Is that the Australian Government’s plan  – in its frenzied rush to convince small drought afflicted rural communities in the Flinders Ranges that to get the services and infrasturcture that they need, – they should rejoice at becoming Australia’s hub for radioactive trash?
