120 big businesses in UK urge govt to adopt a net zero emissions goal for 2050.
 Business Green 31st May 2019 John Lewis, Waitrose, Arup and Coca-Cola among firms urging the governmentto follow Committee on Climate Change advice. More than 120 of Britain’s major businesses have urged the UK government to boost its climate change targets with the adoption of a net zero emissions goal for 2050. In an open letter sent today to the Prime Minister, firms including BT, Aviva, Kingfisher, Iceland and Coca-Cola urge the Prime Minister to use her final days in office to approve the adoption of a net zero target.
