AREVA spins nuclear to kids

AREVA never misses an opportunity to get the uranium/nuclear soft sell out to kids.
And, apparently the South Australia Museum and the S.A. govt are right behind them.
7 October 2009, there was the annual “Bugs Day” at
the South Australia Museum, for kids to bring their insects in for
investigation, with plenty kids everywhere,. So, naturally were two large one metre by two metre red
AREVA on white background boards (or banners) placed next to the
entrance of the ANZANG Nature Photography Exhibition which runs 2
October to 22 November 2009.
Well, much as AREVA, and its top salesman, Nicolas Sarkozy might spin to young and old., nothing disguises the financial failure of AREVA’s “flagship” new nuclear reactors, still far from completion in Finland and France.
Sarkozy is currently off to Kazakhstan, praising this country of bad human rights record, and inviting Kazakhstan in to AREVA’s international web of uranium/nuclear selling.
South Australia must be pretty important to the global nuclear lobby. So – pitching to the young and gullible there is seen as worth doing. The picture at left is from another of AREVA’s South Australian spins to kids – this time as part of AREVA’s Science Week propaganda exercise
