“We shouldn’t be legislating while there is an argument over who has responsibility for the land,” he said. Mr Ludlam had “real concerns about the obsession the government has with location the material at remote Aboriginal sites”.
“The issue with Muckaty is twofold. The traditional owners haven’t consented and it’s in an earthquake and flood-prone area, where there are security and transport issues,” he said.”If these materials are safe in Sydney, why are they wanting to move it?
