South East Queensland free forums on renewable energy

To coincide with World Environment Day this weekend, free presentations on the award-winning Beyond Zero Emisions plan will be given at public forums across south-east Queensland.

Sustainable Jamboree member Ed Parker said the presentations would dispel any doubts people had surrounding renewable energy.

So when Ms McGaw learned of an organisation committed to the same goal she was keen to become involved.Beyond Zero Emissions (BZE) is an independent climate solutions group with a mission to decarbonise Australia within a decade…..

Ms McGaw and several Sustainable Jamboree members are now heavily involved with Beyond Zero Emissions.

To coincide with World Environment Day this weekend, free presentations on the award-winning plan will be given at public forums across south-east Queensland.

Sustainable Jamboree member Ed Parker said the presentations would dispel any doubts people had surrounding renewable energy.

“This isn’t ‘pie in the sky’ stuff – we’re applying things that are proven,” Mr Parker said.

Dorotee Braun, another member, said BZE hoped to reach a million Australians by the end of the year.

The nearest presentation will be given at Mt Ommaney Library, Dandenong Rd, Mt Ommaney this Saturday at 1pm.
