India, it also said, should allow more safety inspections of nuclear plants by independent bodies. These safety-symbolfacts have often been stated by anti-nuclear activists.

The experts of the Integrated Regulatory Review Service made their assessment after visiting various nuclear facilities during a 12-day trip to India at the invitation of the government.

  1. Where was the double-tongued IAEA (the world’s most ardent nuclear lobbyist) when Mr Abbott & Co PL signed the Uranium agreement with India or for that matter, a pending U (and coal) agreement with the war-torn Ukraine?

Last month, Bloomberg announced that India is tripling its fleet of nuclear submarines. India’s cabinet committee approved plans to build six nuclear-powered submarines and seven stealth warships at a cost of about 1 trillion rupees ($16 billion).

India plans to spend $150 billion through 2027 on new fighter jets, anti-tank missiles, helicopters and submarines. Pending purchases include 126 Rafale fighter jets from Dassault Aviation SA and 145 howitzer guns from BAE Systems Plc.

India surpassed China in 2010 to become the world’s largest arms importer.

India’s mismanagement of its war machines reads like an Abbott and Costello comedy skit (pun intended). During the 2013-2014 year, India incurred ten accidents involving its Navy warships and the loss of at least 18 personnel.

Mad monk Abbott has committed to flogging uranium to a nation that barely conceals its intention to expand its nuclear weapons arsenal and one that rejects the NPT and Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty. Twisted any which way, the morally-bankrupt nation of Australia and nuclear’s duplicitous cheer-leader, the IAEA are complicit in the enhancement of India’s nuclear weapons program, further irritating Pakistan (and beyond?).
