¶ BYD landed its first SkyRail contract in South America with a deal with the Brazilian city of Salvador that will see a twenty-kilometer stretch of the overhead light rail system running over the water. ¶ London-based Pivot Power unveiled plans to build a world-first 2-GW network of grid-scale batteries and rapid electric vehicle charging stations across the UK.
