For many years the South Australian community has said no to plans for national and international radioactive waste facilities. Now the town of Kimba on the Eyre Peninsula is being targeted by the federal government as a site for both the disposal and extended storage of Australia’s radioactive waste.
This webinar will explore some of the community concerns and actions and outline what is needed to advance a new and responsible approach to radioactive management in Australia.
