Energy Resources Australia uranium output down 28% – MarketWatch, By David Fickling, SYDNEY 13 jan 2011, — Uranium oxide produced from Energy Resources of Australia Ltd.’s (ERA.AU) Ranger mine fell 28% on the year in 2010, dropping from 5,250 metric tons in 2009 to 3,793 tons, the company said Thursday.

..Conscientious protestors and activists should not expect immunity from the laws they break….. But in some cases, society’s interest in seeing its laws challenged and broken is greater than its interest in seeing them enforced...the judge dismissed the charges without conviction..….In some cases, as the courts recognise, breaking the law is rightly not illegal.

As the US and Australian governments got grumpy about their dirty laundry being aired by leaked cables to WikiLeaks, MasterCard and Visa last month chose to block their cardholders from donating money to the whistle-blowing organisation.

100MW Solar Farm For New South Wales : Renewable Energy News , 10 Jan 2011, The New South Wales government has given the nod to Infigen Suntech to develop the state’s first commercial solar farm. The $300 million solar power station will be constructed on 200 hectares at East Nyngan Road and Boundary Street East, Nyngan and will consist of 300,000 solar panels.
